Last Friday’s opening reception was such as success, we’ll be holding another! This Friday, April 11 at 305 E. 140th St. #1A from 7-10PM.
KNOW WHO YOU ARE AT EVERY AGE is a non-thematic group exhibition representing Session Four of the Bronx River Art Center’s Curatorial Practice Series. Organized by Q_Raider with BDGRMMR.
Q_Raider is a curatorial platform as public profile representing the nascent Office of Curatorial Work, founded by independent curator Edwin Ramoran.
BDGRMMR (pronounced Bad Grammar) is a New York City-based artist collective founded by multimedia artist Yulan Grant, writer Justin Allen and sound artist Brandon Owens (NU GROWTH). Taking its name from assumptions of inarticulacy that surround Black diasporic language, their zine explores race, gender and sexuality at their intersection through interviews, profiles, poetry and graphic design.

transrants:

Create your own gender. Invent your own pronouns. You are not limited to the language we have. You are not limited to the lie of the gender binary. Gender is limitless and so are you. Your identity is valid, and anyone who tells you otherwise needs to be slam-dunked into a garbage can.
